A. South Shore 7’6 with carbon strips and fluro pink glass on fins. Looks like it’s shaped in the 80’s.

A. I’m pretty shit on the guitar + harmonica, but I love it.

Q. What is the oldest thing in your refrigerator?

A. A Dodgy old rice.

Q. What is the strangest thing you do in your spare time?

A. Play with knives.

A. Pumping Aileens in Ireland.

A. The dried sweet chilli sauce around the lid of an empty old bottle…

A. A wedding.

A. Not texting back.

A. Mc Rust.

Q. What peeves you off the most when you’re surfing?

A. When someone with the inside priority pretends to go for a bomb set wave so they don’t look like a wuss, but they aren’t committed and then they fake out last second like they couldn’t get it.

Q. Are you after the dawn patrol or last hours of light?

A. Love me a good dawnie.

Q. What, or who, are you a "closet” fan of?

A. Blake Lively in ‘The Age of Adeline’.

Q. What dare did you accept and later regretted?

A. Joining a chilli eating competition against my older brother when I was about 8 years old. Classic stitch up.

Q. What are the top three things still left on your bucket list?

A. Surf Ireland, Greenbush and big Cloudbreak.

Q. If you could be a famous surfer for one day in time, who would you choose and when?

A. I’d like to be one of surfers who rode through the giant tubes at Cloudbreak, Fiji during the Thunder Cloud swell of 2012. There were so many mind-blowing waves ridden that day, imagine just watching from the shoulder of the channel!! That alone makes me feel a bit sick inside… like scared and excited at the same time.
