About Frends

WHAT IS FRENDS
It's good to know who your Frends are, so allow us to introduce ourselves. Frends is a crew of pro and bro snowboarders who are separate and unique beings, but are bonded together creating one body, much like the most awesome robot warrior of all time, Voltron. Some cliques tend to block you out. You don't get invited to their parties. They don't let you in on all their funny inside jokes. They don't even tell you about the best new music they've been hearing. We at Frends think that is lame. We want you to be our friend. We want you to join our crew. Even if you're not flying down the mountain with us, or up late-night singing awful karaoke renditions of "Sweet Child Of Mine" with us at a dive bar-you're with us in spirit, and we're with you.

WHAT WE DO
Ever since the Frends entity came to life 3 years ago we have wanted to make a product that's true to who we are and legitimate to what we do, a product that enhanced what already existed in the market. I know this is a bold statement, but I think we pulled it off! Music-and the conduit to it-headphones are just as much a part of our lives as the snow. Headphone as our first product felt right, it made sense, and it is the right time to offer a legitimate choice in the emerging headphone market. We are offering a full line of headphones and ear buds that speak to us and represent us, the youth...properly. We are not just adding a few styles to an existing line or painting-up existing product. We are coming at this as a complete electronics accessories company. Everything we do, we do with all of our heart. Just as we are loyal to our Friends and snowboarding we are loyal and passionate about delivering the best and most relevant headphones that speak to us and you. We are, "Loyal to It".

FRENDS PRODUCT
As a crew, we have each other's back, but as a brand-we have your back. Our products are inspired, designed, engineered, field-tested and built to meet the same parameters we have for each other. Just like our friends, we want our gear to be strong, reliable, original, fun, dependable, and interesting. While some other brands regurgitate and repurpose existing product (kind of like putting lipstick on a pig)-Frends has taken the time to build our gear from the ground up using our crew as the inspiration, and of course, the most brutal and honest research and development team you can ask for. Basically, we break our stuff so you don't have to. We test our gear on the mountain, at the party, in the Jacuzzi, in the mean streets-we make sure that by the time you get a product from Frends, it's perfect. We don't want to look like chumps, so we've made sure our products are legit. Nothing's worse than when a friend lets you down, and here at Frends-that just doesn't happen.

THE DETAILS
Attention to detail isn't just a slogan we saw on one of those inspiration posters with a bald eagle carrying a baby goat in its talons into the sunset-we actually mean it. We put so much attention into the sounds quality and design of our actual headphones, so why would we skimp on the chords and mics? All Frends Headphones come with our custom mic, fabric cord and connector plugs. All our headphones are designed to work with all standard sockets giving you the ability to answer calls, pause and change songs, and talk hands free while rocking out the your favorite jams. We even offer a fancy fabric cord that alleviates the issues of tangles and knots (nobody likes a crooked chord). You may not think a headphone cord connector is a big deal, and that's fine, we don't even want you to know they are there-that's why we've developed a custom "Frends Crown," low pro plug that is out of sight, out of mind-but will do its job as a music conduit as long as you both shall live.

RESPONSIBILITY
It's not easy blending our love for the Earth with our goal of being the most technologically advanced headphone company on Earth—but we do what we can. That's why we take such care in packaging our headphones and ear buds in Earth friendly materials. Using recycled corrugated cardboard and biodegradable plastic helps to satisfy our tree-hugging inner neo-hippy souls and it's just one more thing that sets us apart—we actually care! Plus, lets face it, we all hate constantly opening those blister packs most electronics are sealed in—we even know a guy who cut his hand clear off trying to open a new laser pointer! (True Story)!
