31.5" Pro Model Holy Toledo

This new 31.5″ Holy Toledo model is simply one of the best SmoothStar models in our 10 year history. This is the signature pro model of 26 year old Brazilian pro surfer Filipe Toledo. The “Holy Toledo” is Filipe’s nick name due to his radical progressive surfing. Filipe and SmoothStar combined together to produce a surf skate that has high performance but able to be ridden by all surfers. The Holy Toledo has the drive of the SmoothStar 35.5″ Manta Ray but the critical turns of the 32″ Flying Fish.

DESCRIPTION:

The 31.5” Holy Toledo is suited to teenage to adult surfers 5”4’ – 5”10’ (162cm – 177cm) in height. The Holy Toledo is the original signature model of 2X World Champ surfer Filipe Toledo. The 31.5” has a shallow concave and is suited to surfers who wish to pump and generate speed on flat sections. The 31.5” Holy Toledo is also considered the step up board from the 30” Flying Fish, as it shares the same concave profile but has more width, length, and wheelbase. The model name “Holy Toledo” was inspired by Filipe’s nickname when he was 16 years of age – a result of his radical and progressive surfing style. Toledo loved the looseness of the 30” Flying Fish, but needed a bit more drive so a design was created extending all the measurements. The deck concave and tail is perfect for surf carving the streets. The deck is wider than most other skateboards so it helps your keep your line when you are drawing out your bottom and top turns.
